Children are fascinated by things that grow. They love learning about how vegetables and fruits develop from seeds or sprouts to the colourful foods that they see on their tables. They often enjoy helping their parents out in the garden, as well, playing in the sandbox, and in general exploring the outdoors.
Choosing the right garden toys for children will get them outside and soaking up the warm weather, and beginning the practice of staying active while enjoying nature.

A kids’ hedge trimmer will help children get started in learning a valuable skill that is useful for home care and yard maintenance. Garden Toys for Girls:

Unisex Garden Toys:
Children are naturally drawn to animals, and one of the most common animals they are likely to see while outdoors are birds. They will love building a birdhouse with a home birdhouse-building kit. Parents may need to help them with this toy, but children can take an active role in creating a resting place for the feathered friends that come to visit them and learn firsthand about birds as a result. These toys would be suitable for children ages between the ages of 5 and 6.
Both boys and girls enjoy playing in the sandbox. Pails and shovels are always popular toys. Choose plastic versions of these items in your child’s favourite colour. These toys are best for children between ages the ages of 5 and 10.
Clearing leaves in the fall can turn form a chore to a fun family activity. Children over the age of 5 will enjoy helping in this task with their own toy rake. Look for one that is made from sturdy material, yet one that is light enough for a child to lift and work with.
Learning about gardening and caring for their outdoor environment is important for children to learn. Choosing the right garden toys for them will allow children to become acclimated to this environment and encourage them to get fresh air and exercise. These garden toys described above can provide a valuable educational experience for children and increase their enjoyment and appreciation of the out of doors.
