One of the most fun and unusual types of bikes is the tandem bike. The tandem bike is a bicycle that is built for use by two people at the same time.

The rider in the front is generally called the captain because that person can best see where to go and is in charge of steering, adjusting brakes and gears, and pedaling. Meanwhile, the person in the back is called the stoker.

The stoker is the person who only has to pedal and has enough leisure to simply enjoy the scenery. Tandem bicycles are very popular for dates and family bike rides.

This is because they are ideal for use between two people who are want to spend time together, but in which one person is much stronger than the other. On a normal bike ride, these riders would not stay together because one is much stronger and faster than the other.

Tandem bicycles are enjoyed by many and disliked by many. They are somewhat personality specific.

The stoker, or the person in the back, has to be able to trust the captain not to crash or to be strong enough to keep the bike going. In addition, the captain should be a smooth bike rider as constant stopping and starting can be very difficult for the stoker to handle if they are not prepared for it.

This means that the captain should also be an excellent communicator and be able to communicate when stops and bumps are coming up so the stoker can prepare for them. With a great captain, riding a tandem can be a lot of fun.

It can be especially fun because you have someone to talk to and you can go faster than a single bike on fairly flat or downhill stretches. However, these bikes are much less popular than single bikes.

The main reason for this is that they are so much larger and cumbersome to transport and store. They are also more expensive because of their complicated design.

These bikes are also made in smaller numbers because the demand is so low, which makes the price higher. While it will take some practice to ride a tandem, once you and your partner become an adept team, you will have a lot of fun.

Another fairly new type of bicycle is the exercise bike. There are three main types of exercise bikes.

The first is the recumbent exercise bike. This kind of bicycle is the most common and popular because it is more comfortable to ride.

The recumbent bike also has a host of other features that makes riding this bike more enjoyable. One of these features is the LCD display and storage tray.

The LCD display will provide you readouts on the amount of time you have been exercising, your heart rate, the number of calories you have burned, how fast you are going, and how far you have gone. The storage tray allows you to store a water bottle on hand a place a book to read while exercising during a break.

Recumbent exercise bikes usually come with a high tech resistance system that is adjustable to meet your needs and strength. Most exercise machines will have between eight and 15 different resistance levels.

The self-balancing pedals are also nice as you get on so that you do not have to spend time in an awkward position trying to turn them around to the right position. The straps on the pedals also help your feet stay on while exercising.

The seat is usually much larger and more comfortable on this kind of bike as well. In addition, height adjustments, adjustable handlebars, a variety of different workout programs, and adjustable speeds and inclinations make this bike very popular.

The other kind of exercise bike is the upright exercise bike. This kind of exercise bike feels very similar to riding a normal bike. This kind of bike also has various levels at which to workout, a LCD computer display with a variety of features, and a resistance system.

The resistance system in an upright bicycle is magnetic. These bicycles are slightly less popular than the recumbent bicycle.

The third kind of exercise bike is the interactive exercise bike. These machines are much more expensive because these bikes provide entertainment to distract you from how tired you may be feeling.

The display on an interactive bike may allow you to play a game, listen to music, and so forth. The display will also have the normal features such as heart rate and so forth.
