When Apple launched its last gadget iPhone in the market, there was not a single gadget freak who did not want to own this gadget. But before every one could get hold of an iPhone, Apple is all set to launch another new Product, the iPad. Yes, you read it right. This new product from Apple is all set to hit the market this April. iPad Wi-Fi series will released coming April and the updated model with 3G connectivity will be introduced the following month. This iPad is a tablet computer, i.e. a flat mobile computer with multi touch technology. Apple’s iPad can be looked upon as the bigger version of the iPhone. iPad will be powered by Apple’s own processor.

Let us now throw some light on the specifications of this yet to be launched device.

Its height, width and depth are 9.56 inch, 7.47 inch and 0.5 inch respectively. It weighs just 1.5 pounds. It has a screen size of 9.7 inches with a resolution of 1024×768. It comes with different storage capacities of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. This iPad has a great stylish look with touch screen technology which lets you to easily use different applications provided on this device. You can also run many applications together without cutting down the speed. It also lets you resize the window, surf the net etc. The calendar provided with this device allows you to see a complete detailed top level view of the entire month or a detailed view of just one day in a month.

This iPad also provides a special work suite called iWork which would definitely make you work with fun. Be it your spreadsheets or any presentation software, this iWork makes everything easy. So with iWork, you can definitely say that, iPad is not just a gadget for listening music but it can do a lot more than that. Now that you are briefed about the pros of iPad, you should also know the cons of this device. The main drawback is that, it lacks the ability to play flash video that is embedded in almost all the web pages and the reason behind this is suspected to be the differences between the Apple and Adobe. The next drawback is supposed to be the battery life. Apple claims to have a battery life of 10 hours, but using this iPad to watch movies and videos continuously would definitely make the battery last not more than 5 hours.

Apple’s iPad will break the hearts of many people for whom camera is a must on their phones. Yes, Apple’s iPad does not have a camera. Not just that, iPad also fails to provide basic call making service to any ordinary phone. It does not have the feature to send SMS which would definitely disappoint many Apple fans.

There are many pros and con’s about this yet to release gadget, but ultimately you can know the truth only when Apple releases this product and obviously you decide to give it a try.
